Final Fantasy fans can save big on a beautiful three-book box set that celebrates the art of legendary designer and illustrator Yoshitaka Amano. Normally $200, The Sky: The Art of Final Fantasy Box Set is on sale for only $77.64 in Amazon’s Black Friday sale. This is a new all-time low for The Sky, and Amazon has limited quantities available during the promotion. Along with three hardcover books featuring artwork for the original Final Fantasy through Final Fantasy X, the set comes with a few bonus booklets and inserts as well as a gorgeous display box.

The Sky: The Art of Final Fantasy was originally published in limited quantities in 2013. The box set on Amazon is the second edition, which Dark Horse published in November 2023. Together, the three hardcover books include 824 pages of full-color character and world art created by Amano during the development of Final Fantasy (1987) through Final Fantasy X (2001).
This collector’s edition box set also comes with a flipbook of two different Final Fantasy animations made by Amano, an acetate art print with silver ink, two oversized postcards, and a paperback book called All About Yoshitaka Amano. This book features an interview with the artist, a bibliography, thumbnail guides to The Sky, and dozens of behind-the-scenes photographs of Amano working in his New York and Tokyo studios.
The three hardcover books and extras are packaged in a gorgeous clothbound collector’s box with a hinged lid and silver ribbon. The striking artwork on the display box combines the elegant watercolor and pencil techniques that Amano is known for.
