Last year’s Spotify Wrapped was widely received online as a boring, plain mess. By that standard, Wrapped 2025 has been a stark raving success.
In case you missed it, Wrapped dropped on Monday and Spotify loaded it with updates in changes. (We’ve got all the details at Mashable.) Spotify added new features like Listening Age, Clubs, Top Albums, and much more. Spotify itself noted during a press event this week that it had seen pushback to the 2024 Wrapped heading into this year. So far, it seems people have liked the changes and a return to form for one of the internet’s favorite days.
And not a moment too soon for Spotify, which has suffered one PR disaster after another these days — most notably widespread protests and defections over its CEO’s military ties and the platform allowing ICE recruitment ads.

But the internet cannot help but share its taste in music on Wrapped day and that rang true on Wednesday.
There were also folks who posted about not wanting to see Wrapped posts or about leaving Spotify this year.
