Its precisely WHY he was made an enemy. The political party that hes the head of is actually the one the US created when they installed Yeltsin in the 90s *(If you go back and look they even brought Yeltsin to the US and did all kinds of insane shit to pump him up long before he became president of Russa and a disgraceful one at that)…. Yeltsin realizing his mistake as he was essentially hopelessly alcoholic and half dead let the existing power structure and better people than himself hand select Putin to head the party there. The first thing he did was clean up the separatist war run by the same islamic machine that the US used to destabilize the middle east including afghanistan causing the first afghan war and rise of alqueda (a US backed islamic group formed mostly to attack the soviet unions interest in those regions by being religiously extreme in the face of the secular, non religious communist cause) – After they managed to avoid further splintering of the russian federation (the original plan) Putin became the west’s go-to blame after Russia started to get back on its feet- and so the nationalist movements in other surrounding countries became a WELL documented US funded project, including in Kazakhstan, Georgia, Ukraine, the baltic states and even Moldova where pro russian sentiment remained when the region became a red headed stepchild and fairly neglected after the soviet union fell. Point being the whole mess is an US VS THEM and the US and its satellites are unfortunately not the best people to ask about whats good or bad elsewhere in the world- its simply “Whos with us and who isnt” as far as who the US and its media thinks the good guys are.
