OnePlus 7 Pro vs 8 Pro back

  • The OnePlus 8T will reportedly launch next month.
  • Reports suggest an online launch, similar to the OnePlus Nord, can be expected.
  • There’s no indication that the 8T will be joined by the 8T Pro.

The OnePlus 8T will reportedly launch on October 14, according to new info shared by MySmartPrice and tipster Ishan Agarwal.

According to Agarwal, the device will be unveiled in an online showcase similar to the OnePlus Nord event. We’re not sure if that includes the gimmicky AR bits, though.

Exclusive for @mysmartprice: It’s happening! The OnePlus 8T launch event date has been set for October 14.

Unless of course there are last minute changes (that’s 2020 for you!).

More products? 🤷🏻‍♂️. But I’m Excited! #OnePlus8T

Agarwal doesn’t reveal any additional specs, nor did he clarify whether the 8T will be joined by an 8T Pro model as well. Info garnered by tipster Max J earlier this month suggested that there may not be a Pro variant, which would be a first for the T line since 2018.

Nevertheless, per earlier rumors, the OnePlus 8T is said to pack a 6.5-inch 120Hz refresh rate display, four rear cameras headlined by a 48MP sensor, and a 32MP selfie camera. Charging speeds of up to 65W may make an appearance. Up to 12GB of RAM, 256GB of storage, and the Snapdragon 865 chipset reportedly rounds out the package.
