Samsung’s best known for its smartphones, but the South Korean tech giant manufactures a lot more, including TVs, monitors, home products like stoves, refrigerators, washers and dryers, and even an audio line.
When it comes to the latter, the tech giant sells not just the Galaxy Buds, but also soundbars, speakers, and even sound towers.

For 2026, Samsung is looking to refresh the lineup, complete with new Q-series soundbars and new Music Studio speakers.
Highlighted by the tech giant in a new blog post, the new range will be showcased at CES 2026 in Las Vegas, Nevada from January 6–9.
“For more than a decade, Samsung has shaped the evolution of home audio through advanced acoustics, intelligent features and thoughtful design,” said Hun Lee, Executive Vice President of the Visual Display Business at Samsung Electronics. “We’re continuing that legacy with next-generation sound devices designed to deliver a rich, expressive performance for any space and moment.”
The flagship of the new range is the HW-Q990H, an 11.1.4-channel system that combines a 7.0.2 main bar with a 4.0.2 rear speaker and a dual 8-inch driver. It debuts a new technology which Samsung has dubbed ‘Sound Elevation.’
It “lifts dialogue toward the center of the screen for more natural sounding audio. It also introduces Auto Volume, which maintains consistent volume across channels and content for a smoother, more balanced listening experience,” wrote Samsung.
Similarly, there’s also a new all-in-one soundbar (HW-QS90H) that can be both wall mounted and/or placed on a table. It sports built-in gyro sensors to automatically adapt channel distribution based on orientation.
In addition to the soundbars, Samsung is also introducing two new Wi-Fi speakers: Music Studio 5 and Music Studio 7, both of which were designed in collaboration with artist Erwan Bouroullec.
Music Studio 5
Samsung says the Music Studio 5 is built for homes where design is as important as sound. With a “gallery-inspired” design, it doubles as a statement piece with a 4-inch woofer and dual tweeters. It boasts modern features like AI Dynamic Bass Control, Wi-Fi casting, streaming services, voice control, Bluetooth via Samsung Seamless Codec, and more.
Music Studio 7
Described as the most immersive model in the series, Music Studio 7 is the high-fidelity version of the pair. It boasts 3.1.1-channel spatial audio and includes a super tweeter, which can extend the frequency range all the way up to 35kHz for enhanced musical detail. It boasts all the top-of-the-line features seen in Music Studio 5, and is available in black and white. “It functions as a standalone immersive speaker or can be paired with additional units or Samsung TVs via Q-Symphony for wider stereo or a full surround-sound setup.”
