Martin Scorsese’s 1991 psychological thriller Cape Fear gets the TV treatment from Apple this year, and it’s chock-full of stars.

Amy Adams, Patrick Wilson, and Javier Bardem lead the reimagining of Scorsese’s film, with Scorsese and Steven Spielberg producing. Here’s what you need to know about Cape Fear, from its release date to the full cast.

What’s Cape Fear about?

Inspired Scorsese’s 1991 film, itself a remake of the Gregory Peck-led 1962 film, which was in turn based on John D. MacDonald’s 1957 novel The Executioners, Cape Fear pits two attorneys against a ruthless killer. Anna and Tom Bowden (Adams and Wilson) are a happily married legal power couple. They put murderer Max Cady (Bardem) behind bars years ago, but when he gets out of prison, there’s only one thing on his mind: revenge on the people who put him there. Cue the stress (and the iconic “wah wah” of the theme).

Is there a trailer for Cape Fear?

Cape Fear doesn’t have a trailer yet, but Apple has released first-look images showcasing Adams (seen in the header), Wilson, and Bardem’s roles in the show. If you look closely at Bardem’s hands, it looks like he’s rocking knuckle tattoos in the same vein as Robert de Niro’s Love/Hate tattoos from his take on Max Cady. However, it looks like one of these tattoos ends in “st,” so decidedly not the Love/Hate tattoos.

How to watch: Cape Fear premieres June 5 on Apple TV.
