Apple just announced a price hike for its popular Apple Arcade service effective immediately, and it’s proportionally a rather sizable increase. The new price is $6.99 a month, meaning a 40% increase over the previous $4.99.
The price hike for Apple Arcade was accompanied by similar increases for other subscription services by the company. For instance, Apple TV was increased from $6.99 to $9.99.
