Another major event in the awards season circuit is upon us: the Screen Actors Guild Awards. The SAG Awards — now simply called The Actor Awards in 2026 — exclusively honor outstanding acting performances in movies and television from the previous calendar year. The Actor Awards presented by SAG-AFTRA will be held on Sunday, March 1, 2026 at 8 p.m. ET (5 p.m. PT). For those heavily invested in awards season, that’s just two weeks prior to the 2026 Academy Awards.
Who’s nominated for the 2026 Actor Awards?
On the film side, One Battle After Another leads this year’s nominations with seven nods, followed by Sinners with five. Other contenders include Frankenstein, Hamnet, and Marty Supreme.
Meanwhile, on the TV side of things, The Studio picked up the most nominations with five, while The White Lotus and Adolescence each picked up four.

How to watch the 2026 SAG Awards at home
You won’t be able to catch the awards ceremony on cable. Instead, you’ll need to be a Netflix subscriber to watch the Actor Awards. And since Netflix doesn’t offer free trials (and since the platform cracked down on password sharing), you’ll need to sign up for your own account before the show.
