Donald Trump bringing Jake Paul onstage at a rally and endorsing him for political office may sound like something out of a parallel timeline, but it’s exactly what happened on Wednesday.
“Trump got a visit from a celebrity who could be our next president of the United States,” says Jimmy Kimmel in the clip above, before playing footage of the YouTuber-turned-pro boxer speaking at Trump’s Wednesday rally in Kentucky, saying: “What Mr Trump has taught me is courage. We never back down from a fight.”
“I wonder if Jake knows Trump got a note from his podiatrist to dodge the draft?” Kimmel asks. “Do you think maybe he kept that a ‘wonderful secret‘ from Jake?”
