Phones are always pricey investments, so it’s always good to see something for “free.” As of March 16, T-Mobile is offering shoppers the opportunity to score a Google Pixel 10a smartphone for free when they start a new line on its Essentials Plan.
The Pixel 10a’s full price is $499.99, so this is a truly great deal. The Essentials Plan is sets you up with the, well, essentials for your smartphone. According to T-Mobile’s announcement of this plan back when it was initially revealed, “T-Mobile Essentials is designed for those who say they just want the basics: unlimited talk, text and smartphone data in the U.S.” What more do you really need?

As for the Pixel 10a, it’s a smartphone we think is “still the best budget Android phone on the market” according to our review. Mashable’s Alex Perry continued to say, “Though it’s not a particularly exciting smartphone, it does have a very attractive price and one notable design change: The camera array is now completely flat, so there’s no wobble when it lays flat.”
