As a headphones reviewer who’s also covered the past two years of Amazon’s Big Spring Sale, I knew that the seasonally-themed sale could bring some decent tech savings, even if they aren’t quite Prime Day-worthy.
That is to say, I didn’t expect the noise-cancelling headphones and earbuds deals to be as good as they are — at least as of day two of the weeklong sale. The only major omission so far has been from Bose (though the QuietComfort earbuds got a brief $40 markdown in the leadup to the sale). Why we like it
Sony’s flagship WH-1000XM6 headphones may be on sale for $61.99 off, but if you can’t afford to drop $400 on a new pair of headphones, then try these over-ears instead. They still received a positive review in our guide to the best Sony headphones, and they offer active noise cancellation and Sony’s advanced audio features at a much more reasonable price.

Why we like it
While there are plenty of great noise-cancelling earbuds out there, not all of them can claim to offer a performance that beats the AirPods 4 while costing less than $100. With the Sony WF-C710N on sale for $88, that’s exactly the case.
