Over the past couple of years, there have been tons of AI services and products that have emerged, all with the promise of making your life easier. Naturally, Google also threw its hat into the ring, and over time, it’s become one of the better offerings. While Google’s AI core is pretty strong, the interconnected nature of its products and services really sets it apart from its competitors.
Not to mention, you get impressive value, with Google’s AI plans offering access to just more than its AI products and services. With that said, it looks like Google AI Pro subscribers are getting some welcome enhancements, with the brand announcing a variety of changes, including an increase in storage that will take Pro plans from 2TB to 5TB.
A great upgrade
The 2TB of storage was already good, and the increase makes the $20/month Pro plan even better. In addition to the storage, Google’s Pro plan also includes access to NotebookLM Plus and Google Home Premium Standard plan. Not to mention that these tools all seamlessly integrate into Google’s own Pixel phones, providing access to powerful Gemini tools at the push of a button.
And while access to these tools and services can be convenient, it might not be for everyone. Naturally, there’s concern about privacy, along with what type of data is being collected in order to make these tools better. If you’re deep into Google’s ecosystem, AI Pro might be a good option.
While Google AI delivers the most value, there are other products out there that can do things better. With that said, there are pros and cons to every AI product or service out there; it’s just about choosing a service that aligns with your needs. However, you’ll want to keep an eye out since things are always changing, with new updates that further improve the experience.
Of course, if you’re just interested in storage, Google does have different plans available without any AI tools in tow.

Storage and backup
Google One is one of the most popular subscription-based cloud storage services at the consumer level. For $2.00 per month, you can access 100GB of cloud storage, which should be plenty in addition to your phone’s built-in storage.
