This is the Samsung foldable to get if you’re on a budget

Flip phones are the way to go if you want a foldable phone on a budget. Samsung’s Galaxy Z Flip 6 is a solid option even in 2026, offering a sleek design and reliable hardware. We loved the large 3.4-inch outer screen, which can be used to navigate important apps, if you don’t want to open up the phone.

While you can find this phone for pretty cheap from online retailers, most are going to be selling refurbished or renewed models. It’s one way to go, but if you want something new, Woot is now offering the Galaxy Z Flip 6 for $550, which is one of the best prices we’ve seen on this model.

Not bad if you’re dead set on a Samsung

Samsung’s Galaxy Z Flip 6 was so popular that the brand decided to essentially re-release it as its budget model the following year, coming in with small revisions as the Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE. So, that should tell you a lot about the Galaxy Z Flip 6, and just how good it was, and still is.

The large 3.4-inch outer display makes it easy to get things done if you don’t want to always open up the phone for the large inner-screen. Samsung’s software really makes this type of flexibility possible, and the brand has promised to provide updates for this phone for seven years from its initial release.

So, you’re looking at updates until 2031, which is quite some time from now. The good news is that these updates will keep the phone feeling fresh with new features. When it comes to the other hardware, things are pretty solid here, with the phone feeling fast when navigating menus.

While we wished that cameras were just a touch better, they’re going to be able to handle most scenarios. We also wished that the charging speed on this phone was just a little bit faster, but 25W is acceptable at this new price. Be sure to get it while you can because this deal won’t be around for long.
