The OnePlus Pad Go 2 is an Android tablet that debuted at the top of the year, but really didn’t gain much traction. For the most part, we really enjoyed our time with it. It delivers good performance, has a large screen, the software is easy to use, and the price isn’t hard on the wallet at just $400. With that said, it’s now priced at just $300, which is $100 off its usual retail price. If you’ve been looking for a new Android tablet, this one might be a good way to go.
What’s great about the OnePlus Pad Go 2?
When it comes to the hardware, you’re getting a MediaTek Dimensity 7300 Ultra processor that’s paired with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. Now, one thing to note is that there isn’t a way to expand the storage on this model. So, if you’re someone who needs a lot of storage space, you’ll want to go for the model that has 256GB of storage.
It has a large 12.1-inch screen, which is a lot of screen real estate for a tablet. It’s good for most applications, feels fluid during use, and can even be used for gaming and entertainment thanks to its 120Hz refresh rate. The quad speaker setup really helps make this tablet one of the better devices for media consumption on the go.
The software that it runs is fairly feature-packed, providing a seamless experience for single and multitasking use. OnePlus provides three years of software updates. When it comes to battery life, the results are good, and it should last all day for most people. The charging is also decent, charging at 33W.
If you’ve been looking for a tablet with a big screen, this is an option, especially now since it’s priced lower.
