TL;DR: Amazon has the Pokémon TCG Mega Evolution Ascended Heroes Elite Trainer Box starting at $149.95, while Walmart has it listed at $149.94 — both sitting below TCGplayer’s current market price of $154.44.

Prices for the Pokémon TCG’s Ascended Heroes ETBs have been skyrocketing since early March (up over 31% in three months), but sellers on Amazon and Walmart are still ready to sell you the coveted boxes under market value.

As of April 22, Amazon has third-party sellers listing the Pokémon TCG Mega Evolution Ascended Heroes Elite Trainer Box from $149.95 with free delivery, while Walmart is a cent cheaper at $149.94. TCGplayer’s cheapest full ETB listing sits at $157.99 plus shipping. That makes either Amazon or Walmart the smarter place to buy, saving you at least $4 against the $154.44 market price.

Mashable Trend Report

Inside the box, you’re getting contents similar to other ETBs in the trading card game: nine Ascended Heroes booster packs, one full-art foil promo card featuring N’s Zekrom, 65 card sleeves, 40 Pokémon TCG Energy cards, a player’s guide, six damage-counter dice, one competition-legal coin-flip die, a plastic coin, a collector’s box with six dividers, and a code card for Pokémon TCG Live.

Along with the Ascended Heroes Elite Trainer Box’s special extras, the real reason behind the expansion’s heavy demand is some of the most valuable pulls the Pokémon TCG has seen in years — including Mega Gengar ex, Pikachu ex, and Mega Dragonite ex.

The release of the Chaos Rising expansion on May 22 could eventually see Ascended Heroes dip in price, but we can only predict that prices will keep going up in the meantime. With that, we’d recommend grabbing your Ascended Heroes ETB at these lower prices while you can.

For even more packs from the expansion, you can also preorder the Pokémon TCG’s upcoming Ascended Heroes ex Boxes for just under $70. Among other ETBs in the Pokémon TCG, you can preorder the Chaos Rising Elite Trainer Box for just under $115 at Walmart.
