Prime Day is still months away, but whether you’re planning your summer travels or shopping for a Mother’s Day gift, delaying the purchase of a new e-reader may not be an option. 

Fortunately, you don’t need to wait to score a great deal, as Amazon has decided to slash prices on a ton of my favorite e-readers for a limited time. From the vibrant Kindle Colorsoft to the stylus-ready Kobo Libra Colour, keep reading for the best e-readers included in the sale today. 

Of course, e-readers are likely to get even cheaper once Prime Day arrives in earnest (presumably) this June, so it’d be understandable if you wanted to wait for those discounts to go live. But if you’re shopping for a gift or you simply want to tackle those reading goals ASAP, the deals below might be the best opportunities you’ll see for a while. After all, discounts on e-readers are historically pretty rare, so it couldn’t hurt to take a closer look.
