@Profchaos yeah I don’t think Bungie would’ve made a good Halo 4. Personally, I think Reach deviates to far from Halo 3. I really think it showed they were ready to do something different. Some people think the solution would be to get Bungie working on Halo, but that’s kind of moot since the narrative director of Halo 1/2/3 is now at 343. Frankly, all 343 has ever needed is good leadership and honestly, between him and the art style director I have confidence Infinite will deliver this time, not even 343 is a monolith. People who root for new Halo games to be bad really suck, it’s like hoping each generation’s 3D Mario is bad. In my eyes, Halo is to the classic shooter what Mario is to 3D platformer. All they had to do to sell me was say br’s, blood gulch, and 4 players split screen; I pity anyone who doesn’t understand that nostalgia.
