Avengers: Doomsday is primed to be the biggest superhero movie yet. Marvel Entertainment has dropped a jaw-dropping trailer, and the sheer amount of superheroes in it is dizzying.
The Fantastic Four are back, as are Avengers like Ant-Man, Captain America, The Winter Soldier, Thor, and Steve Rogers. Plus, there’s Loki, Shang-Chi, the warriors of Wakanda, including the new Black Panther, and Thunderbolts‘ Yelena, John Walker, the Red Guardian, and Ghost. And representing for the X-Men are Professor X, Magneto, Cyclops, Mystique, and Gambit.
And of course, Robert Downey Jr., who previously played Tony Stark/Iron Man, is back as Doctor Doom, typically a Fantastic Four foe.
Also appearing in the film are Chris Evans, Chris Hemsworth, Pedro Pascal, Paul Rudd, Anthony Mackie, Florence Pugh, Vanessa Kirby, Ebon Moss-Bachrach, Wyatt Russell, Channing Tatum, Simu Liu, Ian McKellen, Tom Hiddleston, James Marsden, Patrick Stewart, Joseph Quinn, Sebastian Stan, David Harbour, Letitia Wright, Lewis Pullman, Kelsey Grammer, Kathryn Newton, Danny Ramirez, Winston Duke, Alan Cumming, Hannah John-Kamen, Rebecca Romijn, Mabel Cadena, and Tenoch Huerta Mejia.
Anthony Russo and Joe Russo direct Avengers: Doomsday, which opens in theaters on Dec. 18.
