Robot vacuums might not be your thing, but they’re exciting pieces of tech that can really help with your daily household chores. It’s been about 25 years since the first Roomba was released, and these devices have only gotten better. While older models did a passable job, new versions from brands like Narwal are truly impressive. At IFA 2026 in Berlin, Narwal unveiled its latest products: two new robot vacuums and a new lightweight stick vacuum.
Narwal Freo 20
This robot vacuum is a big deal, featuring Narwal’s flagship FlowWash Mopping System. This technology includes a roller mop that reaches every crevice with its EdgeReach technology, self-cleans with 60°C hot water, and applies consistent pressure for a better mopping experience than ever.
You also get 31,000 Pa suction power, along with the NarMind Pro Autonomous System with dual RGB cameras. The brush stays free of debris with its DualFlow Tangle-Free System. Of course, this tech doesn’t come cheap, with the Freo 20 costing $1,099.99.
Narwal Freo 20 Edge
This is a more economical choice, stripping out some of the more high-end features from the Freo 20. You get Narwal’s FlowWash Mopping System, but it won’t clean the brush with hot water. You still get the 31,000 Pa suction power, along with the EdgeReach and DualFlow Tangle-Free System. This model comes in at $799.99.
Narwal V50 Cube
A lightweight and powerful stick vacuum that also has an auto-empty dock that makes clean-ups easy. Perfect for homes of any size, with impressive 210AW high suction performance. Narwal hasn’t given a release date or price for the US, so we’ll have to look out for this one in the future. The same applies for the Narwal Wet and Dry Vacuum series.
