October’s PlayStation Plus Games
PlayStation revealed the lineup on Wednesday, September 30, as reported by Video Games Chronicle. The headline pick, F1 25, is the official game of the 2025 FIA Formula One World Championship and is available on PS5. It includes Career and My Team 2.0, alongside a new F1 World multiplayer mode where players can team up to race against AI drivers.
Hunt: Showdown 1896 brings its extraction-shooter mix of monster hunts and rival Hunters to PS5. Players track down bosses, claim bounties and try to extract alive, either alone or alongside up to two teammates. It gives the month a very different kind of high-pressure multiplayer option from F1 25’s squad racing.
For a more colorful co-op option, Earth Defense Force: World Brothers 2 is available on both PS4 and PS5. Players build a team from collected characters and take on voxel-styled enemies; the game supports four-player online co-op and two-player local split-screen on both consoles. That makes it the lineup’s pick for players who want to get a group together for a more arcade-style fight against giant enemies.
All three games can be claimed from Tuesday, October 6 through Monday, November 2, 2026. Once claimed, they remain playable after the offer ends as long as the account keeps an active subscription to any PlayStation Plus tier.

Before the new lineup arrives, members have until Monday, October 5, to add Sniper Elite: Resistance, MLB The Show 26, Wobbly Life and Chained Echoes to their libraries. Anyone who has not claimed those games yet should do so before the deadline; the October titles will follow the next day.
