If you don’t want a small smartphone strapped to your wrist at all times, the Fitbit Inspire 3 is Mashable’s top budget pick. At well under $100, it provides everything you need and nothing you don’t.

While the last-gen Series 11 isn’t seeing discounts on Amazon right now, Apple’s flagship Apple Watch Series 12 (GPS, 42mm) is down to $349.99 from $399.00. That $49.01 markdown brings Apple’s latest hardware down to a more accessible price point for Prime Big Deal Days. It delivers even faster processing, a display that’s twice as scratch-resistant, deeper Apple Intelligence integration via Workout Buddy, and advanced health monitoring like Daily Readiness scores and more frequent heart rate variability (HRV) readings.

Why we like it
Garmin watches are some of the best in the biz, but they rarely see steep discounts. So I was surprised to see the Venu 3 and 3S (the smaller option) down to a new record-low of $279.99 for October Prime Day. Garmin’s Venu smartwatch is a great all-rounder, with health metrics and fitness tools (over 30 preloaded sports apps) out the wazoo. It gives you in-depth recovery advice for training, detailed sleep data, a built-in speaker and microphone for hands-free calls and virtual assistant access, and battery life that puts most watches to shame (up to two weeks in smartwatch mode). It’s also incredibly sleek and comes in a couple colorways, each of which are on sale.

Read our full review of the CMF Watch 3 Pro.
If you’d like a capable fitness tracker, but you’re not in the mood to spend much, I have good news: October Prime Day has the CMF Nothing Watch 3 Pro on sale for only $59. In testing this model last year, it quickly became one of my favorites, and left me shocked at how CMF priced this so low, given its features. It does have a larger face that measures about 1.5 inches, so keep that in mind if you prefer a more petite fitness tracker.
