Prime Day is over, but some Amazon deals still remain.
If you’re looking for a new e-reader to help you fly through the rest of your TBR pile, the Kindle Paperwhite is still heavily discounted. As of Oct. 8, you can save $80, with the price dropping from $249.99 to $169.99. This price is for the 32GB 2024 model, available in black, metallic raspberry, or metallic jade.
The Paperwhite is the right choice if you want a device that’s dedicated to reading and nothing else. It’s built specifically for books, so there are no streaming apps or social media distractions to pull you away from your latest read.
It has a 7-inch display with a glare-free finish, so it’s comfortable to read in different lighting conditions. You can also adjust the screen from a cooler white to a warmer amber shade depending on your preference. And you won’t need to worry about constantly charging it, either. The battery can last for up to 12 weeks on a single charge.
