- A trusted source has revealed that the Samsung Galaxy A58 will retain the same cameras as the Galaxy A57.
- That means a 50MP main camera, a 12MP ultrawide camera, and a 5MP macro camera.
- This would be the eighth mainline Galaxy A50 series phone with a macro camera.
Update: October 15, 2026 (7:20 AM ET): There’s also bad news if you were hoping that the Galaxy A38 5G would receive camera hardware upgrades. Galaxy Club reports that the upcoming phone will also feature a 50MP main camera, 12MP ultrawide camera, and 5MP macro lens. That’s the same camera setup as the Galaxy A37 and A36. Rounding out the package is a 12MP selfie camera.
It’s possible that the Galaxy A38 5G could get other upgrades like a larger battery, improved screen, or faster processor. But smartphone photographers on a budget will likely be disappointed.
