CD Projekt Red has released Update 2.5 for Cyberpunk 2077, announcing the patch in a post on its official forums on October 25, 2026.
Available now, including on Switch 2
The studio’s support page confirms that Update 2.5 is now available on Nintendo Switch 2. The forum thread does not detail the patch’s contents.
What players have reported around the release
The update arrives days after players reported problems with Cyberpunk 2077 that CD Projekt Red has acknowledged. PS5 owners described cloud save issues, and the studio listed cyberware stats as a known issue on PC under 2.5, alongside artifacting reported by some Radeon RX 570 users.
Separately, German outlet play3.de reports that the Edgerunners 2 anime could line up with this update window, though CD Projekt Red has not confirmed any timing for the show.
