Marvel Cosmic Invasion Castle Doom DLC lands November 10

Tribute Games and Dotemu have detailed Castle Doom, a run-based roguelite mode arriving in Marvel Cosmic Invasion’s second DLC, Marvel Cosmic Invasion: The Siege of Castle Doom, on November 10, 2026.

The mode sends players into Victor von Doom’s stronghold in Castle Doomstadt with a clock ticking against them: heroes must break through the castle’s defenses before Doom activates the Cosmic Inductor, a flawed weapon the game describes as designed to thwart Annihilus but destined to end the cosmos. Each run becomes a race. A Siege Gauge charges every time the heroes are defeated, and if it fills completely before the showdown with Doom, the run ends instantly. Kevin Chiasson, level designer at Tribute Games, laid out the mechanics in a post on PlayStation.Blog: “Get ready to meet your Doom on November 10.”

Players are not defenseless against the gauge. Every encounter survived charges the Stabilizer, a Reed Richards creation that stalls Doom’s progress, and Battery Cells gathered along the way feed it further. Between fights, heroes choose their route through themed doors marked Equipment, Events, Heal, Infinite and Progression, and perks come in Offense, Defense and Tactical branches drawn from a collection of 12 upgrades applied individually to each hero. Successful runs permanently unlock new equipment and events from Reed’s Lab, plus modifiers that deepen future runs and new color palettes for heroes who beat Doom.

The DLC’s scope and platforms

By Chiasson’s count, the mode packs in more than five times more encounters than the main game, alongside new events, traps and hazards. Doom Bots and bosses returning from the base game patrol the castle, and blizzards freeze the Castle Battlements while Doom’s experiments fill the Tower of Solitude’s elevator platforms. In multiplayer, an MVP system showcases the statistics of the most effective players in a run.

Beyond the mode, the DLC adds two playable characters: The Invisible Woman and Doctor Doom himself, who mocks the heroes’ invasion of Doomstadt in voice-over while Reed Richards guides them through the ordeal. Composer Tee Lopes contributes original tracks for the mode.

Marvel Cosmic Invasion: The Siege of Castle Doom launches November 10, 2026 on PS4, PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2 and PC. A price for the DLC has not been announced.
