Are you scratching your head while trying to find Moji’s Relic in Phantom Blade Zero? This item is required for a quest called Hero’s Lament and the clues are rather vague. Still, if you can complete this task, you’ll have new objectives to tackle.
Hero’s Lament quest: Liu Yi and Master Moji
To start the Phantom Blade Zero Hero’s Lament quest, you need to trek all the way to the Mountain of Imprisonment. Keep following the main objective until you exit a large cavern and meet an NPC named Liu Yi. He’ll tell you about the damaged lift, as well as his former master, Moji. He wants you to retrieve Moji’s relic somewhere in the summit.
Liu Yi feels despondent due to the loss of his master.
The Detached Cage Lever
The goal now is to find the Detached Cage Lever. It’s located near the Commander’s Platform bell–i.e. where you fought a boss named Bi Feng, Giant Saber Commander. Climb up the archer tower and look at the nearby collapsed house. You should spot a glowing item, so drop down to collect it.
Note: If the item isn’t there, then perhaps you need to complete the main objective by defeating the chapter boss in the northwestern part of the map.
Moji’s Bloodstained Sword
In any case, you can use the lever that you just found in the area with the hanging cells. If you’ve already explored this region before, then it’s the place where Lu Sanqian got imprisoned for the second time.
Go to the upper section and lower the cell via the mechanism. Then, check it out to obtain Moji’s Bloodstained Sword. This is Moji’s Relic in Phantom Blade Zero.

Phantom Edge: Ink Cut
Return to Liu Yi and bring him the sword. He’ll surprisingly commit suicide, believing that his blood will help purify the weapon. This nets you the Ink Cut, a new Phantom Edge.
The Ink Cut is a martial-type weapon that can spawn a blade–known as a Radiant Wheel–that spins around and detonates if you end its combo prematurely. Further upgrades increase the explosion damage, while the Soul Temper perk lets you cast a twinned Radiant Wheel.

Liu Yi sacrifices himself to empower your new weapon, the Ink Cut.
That does it for our guide on how to complete Hero’s Lament in Phantom Blade Zero. If you’re looking for other Phantom Edges in the game, then you might want to finish Old Man Gen’s quest line.
Last but not least, it seems that the Hero’s Lament quest also leads to another task in the Mountain of Imprisonment. It involves the Agonized Ironmask and Female Puppet.
