Discovery is about to jump into the streaming service game in a huge way starting early next year with the launch of discovery+, which will bundle Discovery’s iconic portfolio of networks into a single powerhouse offering, with the largest-ever content offering at launch.

The discovery+ service will start streaming on January 4, 2021 and will offer more than 55,000 episodes spanning 2,500 present and classic shows from the Discovery suite of networks, including TLC, HGTV, Food Network, ID, OWN, Travel Channel, Discovery and Animal Planet—as well as the largest library of true crime content offered by any streaming service.

In addition, discovery+ will also serve as the launch pad for a wide array of exclusive, original content you will only be able to find there, with more added each week. Featuring stars such as comedian and actor Kevin Hart, Chip and Joanna Gaines, Will Packer, Bobby Flay and more the shows will span the gamut of real-life entertainment Discovery brands have become known for, including adventure, true crime, lifestyle, home, food, and relationships, as well as natural history, science, and the environment.

So just about anything you’re into, you can get it on discovery+, starting at $4.99 per month, with an ad-free version available for $6.99 per month.

Each discovery+ account will offer up to five user profiles and four concurrent streams (among the highest in the streaming video services), and it will be accessible across all major platforms, including connected TVs, web, mobile, tablets, and game consoles.
