Sony and Microsoft’s next-gen consoles have less than 1 TB of usable space, which can fill up quickly. Players may need to invest in external hard drives for their PC or purchase a custom NVMe SSD for their Xbox if they want to keep games installed and updated; PS5 doesn’t currently support storing or playing PS5 games from an external drive.
