James Bond: No Time To Die Delayed Once Again, This Time To October 2021

Daniel Craig’s final James Bond adventure, No Time To Die, has been delayed again, MGM announced today. The film’s release date moves out of spring and into autumn, with its premiere now set for October 8, 2021.

This latest delay pushes No Time To Die over a year from its initial release date. 007’s latest was originally meant to debut in April 2020, but the coronavirus pandemic pushed the film first out to November, and then into April 2021.

No Time to Die is Daniel Craig‘s fifth Bond film. Alongside Craig, the film stars Rami Malek (Mr. Robot, Bohemian Rhapsody) as the villain, Jeffrey Wright (Westworld, The Batman) as Felix Leiter, Ana de Armas, Lea Seydoux, Ralph Fiennes, Naomi Harris, and Christoph Waltz.

Here’s the official synopsis for the film: “James Bond has left active service. His peace is short-lived when Felix Leiter, an old friend from the CIA, turns up asking for help, leading Bond onto the trail of a mysterious villain armed with dangerous new technology.”

No Time To Die is just one of many films pushed into fall 2021, and it probably won’t be the last.
