Kojima’s favorite console to make games for was the PlayStation 1

Some gamers rag on him for creating his own style of gameplay and story telling beyond the 8 and 16 bit era. But Kojima DEFINED sneaking back then that pushed other developers to copy even to this day. I love Tenchu. But Tenchu didn’t do this the way MGS did.

Developers like him, his games and the PS1, will go down in console history as defining what PlayStation exclusive games and gameplay were/is about. I hope that trend continues.
