The Falcon And Winter Soldier Super Bowl Trailer Arrives With First Full Look At Disney+ Series

We’ve been waiting a long time to find out what’s next in the saga of Captain America after Steve Rogers passed the shield to his successor at the end of Avengers: Endgame, and we’re now one step closer: The first full trailer for the upcoming Disney+ streaming series The Falcon and The Winter Soldier has arrived, and you can watch it for yourself below.

The trailer debuted in a truncated form during the Super Bowl, with this extended version appearing online shortly after.

The Falcon and The Winter Soldier will tell the story of Bucky Barnes and Sam Wilson post-Endgame. The two appear to have developed a buddy cop-like rapport, based on their interactions in the trailer, which give us a hint to the show’s tone. They aren’t the only two familiar characters who appear in the trailer, though–we also catch glimpses of Captain America: Civil War villain Helmut Zemo and Sharon Carter (Peggy Carter’s great niece and Steve Rogers’ one-time love interest). Appropriately, there’s even a shot of someone in full Captain America gear (seen only from behind) jogging out onto a football field.

Disney shared a new image to promote the show as well–check it out below.

The Falcon and The Winter Soldier hits Disney+ March 19, following the March 5 conclusion of WandaVision, which is streaming weekly on the service now. Although the MCU has been on hold along with the rest of the entertainment industry thanks to the COVID-19 pandemic, these Disney+ series are continuing the saga in a post-Endgame world. Naturally, we’re breaking down WandaVision every week.

Meanwhile, the Super Bowl keeps delivering the goods, from the Fast 9 trailer to a new look at Bob Odenkirk’s John Wick-like Nobody.
