Take this with a grain of salt obviously and I’m sorry to disappoint but there’s a rumor that Gold and Silver will be the Lets Go versions

It’s terrible, the Lets Go games were awful. Full price titles for an easy as hell dumbed down Pokemon entry that held your hand the entire way. Instead of adding features and expanding on the map, maybe new towns or add in evolutions for the original 151 Pokemon found in later games, they held things back.
