Early Samsung Galaxy A52 unboxing spills all secrets

  • A YouTuber uploaded an unboxing video for the Samsung Galaxy A52.
  • Samsung hasn’t launched this phone yet, so this video is a bit early.
  • The video shows that the Galaxy A52 has a charger, a 120Hz display, and an IP67 rating.

Samsung will likely schedule a new Unpacked event quite soon to launch its newest Galaxy A series phones. However, the lack of a formal release hasn’t stopped YouTuber Moboaesthetics from posting a full unboxing video of one of those phones.

We’ve mirrored the Samsung Galaxy A52 unboxing video above. It’s a fairly normal unboxing in which the host opens up the retail packaging for the first time, powers up the phone, and shows off some of its capabilities.

One of the most notable bits of info this unboxing appears to confirm is that the Galaxy A52 carries an IP rating. It’s not the IP68 rating we see on most flagships, but an IP67 rating. This means the phone is fully protected from dust and can handle submersion in water at a depth up to one meter for 30 minutes.

Elsewhere, the Samsung Galaxy A52 carries a 120Hz display refresh rate. It also has a 15W charger included in the box. However, it is capable of charging at 25W speeds if you care to invest in a different charger. As expected, the phone is powered by a Snapdragon 750G chipset.

Unfortunately, the unboxing video doesn’t give us any ideas on price. However, it’s only a matter of days at this point before Samsung actually launches this phone. All will be revealed soon!
