20 Bethesda Games Come to Xbox Game Pass Tomorrow

Following Microsoft’s completion of its recent acquisition of ZeniMax Media, Xbox Game Pass will add new Bethesda published games on Friday, March 12. The new additions will bring the service’s total Bethesda games up to 20.

The news comes from a roundtable discussion between Microsoft and Bethesda about the acquisition deal. While Microsoft stressed that the presentation wouldn’t include news, it did confirm the slate of games coming to its service. The list includes games that are new to Game Pass and others that had been removed from the library.

The list features entries in several of Bethesda’s biggest franchises, from Doom to The Elder Scrolls. Highlights include Dishonored 2, Doom Eternal, Wolfenstein: The New Order, Fallout: New Vegas, and The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim. Those join games that are already on the service, such as Fallout 76.

Most of the games will be available on PC and console, with a few exceptions. Several titles will join Microsoft’s cloud gaming service tomorrow as well, and will be available to Android users.

During the roundtable, Microsoft once again confirmed that certain Bethesda games will be exclusive to Microsoft moving forward. However, Xbox chief Phil Spencer noted that not every game will be exclusive, citing existing legacy contracts. Spencer did not confirm which of Bethesda’s upcoming games will still launch on other platforms.

Bethesda says that it won’t have any additional news to share for a few months, citing how long it takes to put together its plans. The studio says fans will get an update by the end of this summer.
