Screenshots are one of the most important features on smartphones today, giving you a convenient way to save and share content that can’t be easily downloaded or shared otherwise. We’ve even seen numerous OEMs implement scrolling screenshot functionality, which means no webpage or thread is too long.

There are several ways to take a screenshot though, and that got us wondering just how Android Authority readers do it. Let us know by taking the poll below.

One of the most reliable ways to take a screenshot across devices is to simultaneously press the power and volume-down buttons. But screenshots can also be taken by using a voice assistant (e.g. Bixby, Google Assistant), via the quick settings or power button menus, and via other software shortcuts.

In the case of the latter, we’ve seen Samsung offer a screenshot feature via the Edge panel or a palm swipe gesture, Huawei delivering screenshots by double-tapping your knuckle on the screen, and other OEMs offering the feature via the Quick Ball function or a downward-swipe with three fingers.
