Part of me thinks this won’t be exclusive for long on Xbox. I think Bethesda sold themselves to Ms but they also didn’t want to cut off more than half of their potential customers. I think the strategy could be release the game on Xbox first than 6 months later release it at full price on ps5(I am just taking a guess. Bethesda were not in any financial issues, they didn’t have to sell, they were privately owned. I think they will for time being have a lot of creative/development freedom)
I think this acquisition will open the flood gates for other mid size publishers. The rumor about square enix receiving multiple offers has some validity. Imagine if square goes next to Sony. I don’t think we as gamers win in this scenario. By end of this generation I think square enix, Sega, Capcom, wb and ubi will be sold
