We already suspected Lizzo and Cardi B were Earthly goddesses, but now they’ve gone and confirmed the rumor.
For their brand new banger, “Rumors,” the pair have joined the likes of Greek goddesses Artemis, Athena, and Aphrodite to descend from Mount Olympus and walk among us mere mortals.
Directed by Tanu Muino, the ancient Greece-inspired video shows Lizzo and Cardi B as the Muses they are: dancing on (or wearing) ionic columns, or wandering among towering statues, murals, and amphorae emblazoned with ancient art featuring none other than their glorious selves.
No chance, no way, I won’t say I’m in love with this video. OK, I will.
