Save $20 on the Fitbit Luxe

SAVE $20: As of Aug. 31, the Fitbit Luxe is on sale for $129.95 at Walmart, Amazon, and the Fitbit website — that’s 13% off its $149.95 MSRP.

It only took forever — okay, four months — but Fitbit’s most attractive fitness tracker yet has *finally* gone on sale.

Normally priced at $149.95, this spring’s fashion-forward Fitbit Luxe is now sitting at just $129.95 at Walmart, Amazon, and Fitbit.com. That’s a 13% savings, which is its biggest (well, technically only) discount to date.

To recap, the Luxe is basically a sleek mashup of form and function, with a lightweight, button-free design made of stainless steel and a premium color LED display. (For comparison’s sake, all of the other fitness trackers in Fitbit’s current lineup are made of plastic and sport a grayscale display.) The whole thing is swim-proof up to 50 meters and lasts up to five days on a single charge, so don’t feel like you need to exclude it from any last-minute summer excursions.

Feature-wise, you can pull up the Fitbit app on your Luxe for 24/7 heart rate monitoring, activity tracking, and nearly two dozen on-wrist exercise modes; Fitbit’s also equipped it with its Active Zone Minutes tool, which uses that heart rate data to track your progress toward weekly workout goals. Pair the device with your smartphone, and you’ll add call and text notifications and a real-time GPS to the mix — it works equally well with iOS and Android, FYI.

For even more health-tracking help, a $9.99/month Fitbit Premium subscription will unlock advanced metrics (including blood oxygen saturation and skin temperature readings), sleep analysis, special activity challenges, and Wellness Reports based on your stats. Conveniently, all three of the aforementioned retailers that have the Luxe on sale right now have been so kind as to throw in a free six-month trial (a $59.94 value) with your purchase.

Take your pick from three different styles: black/graphite stainless steel, lunar white/soft gold stainless steel, or a rosy orchid/platinum stainless steel.
