Why Don’t the Horizon Forbidden West Collector’s Editions Come with a Physical Disc?

The worst part is people defending it by going

“It’s because there’s a digital PS5 and this allows both audiences to get the collectors edition”

It’s bullshit, the last thing the majority of people who go all digital want is physical stuff, it defeats the point of going all digital. I highly doubt most would want things they most likely considering “junk”.

All they had to do, well, any developer really, is have the collectors edition, let it come bundled with the special edition (ones that usual just come with the steelbook or artbook), you are then allowed to choose your version and if you go physical have a space inside the collectors edition where the special edition can slot into.
