The self-emptying Ecovacs N8+ is only $399.99

Save $200: The Ecovacs Deebot Ozmo N8+ Robot Vacuum and Mop with Self Empty is 33% off at Target as of Sept. 9, dropping the white model to $399.99.

Regular robot vacuums are no longer the zenith of convenience. Now, people who want really hands-off cleaning need to pick a vacuum that empties its own dust bin.

The extra-automated route is typically an extra expensive one. But this deal from Target puts a strong self-emptier up for grabs for a genuinely wild price. Snag the white Ecovacs Deebot Ozmo N8+ — a robot vacuum and mop — and its self-emptying dock for just $399.99.

(That’s a $200 price drop from its MSRP of $599.99. The same model in black is full price at Best Buy and $449.99 but out of stock at Walmart.)

One of Ecovacs’s more recent launches, the Deebot Ozmo N8+ sees coveted smart upgrades like laser-based LiDAR mapping and sensors that avoid carpets while mopping. The N8+ creates a precise game plan based on the map it has created of every room, then uses 360-degree scanning to make sure nothing was missed. No-go virtual boundaries can be set on the app, as well as scheduled cleanings while you’re away.

Despite its hefty 2300Pa suction (compared to 2500Pa on the best Roomba), the N8+ can squeeze out nearly two hours of cleaning before it heads to its dock to charge. Upon return, the contents of the dust bin will be sucked into the canister above. On your end, dock emptying day will only come around once a month.
