Destroy All Humans 2’s gameplay has aged a lot better than the first game for me personally, so I’m really excited for this.
It has multiple cities from all over the world to destroy, crazier weapons, and destroying all humans (the open world rampages) was way more fun. Used to go on rampages for hours. Being next gen only, maybe they can increase the amount of NPCs for more carnage as well.
The first game has a special place in my heart (it cheered me up as a child right after my grandmother died) but the second game just has a lot more to offer once you get past the funny premise of the first game. Crypto’s first encounters with humans, and probably overreacting by blowing up farms, county fairs, drive-in cinemas, etc was hilarious in the first game though.
