Is Bandai Namco on the verge of cracking the West?

Namco and Bandai have been “cracking the West” since gaming and toys started. Acquisitions and publishing are just added bonuses.

Elder Ring should do very well for them. But it’s just the company extending its portfolio beyond Tekken, Soul Calibur and Pac Man into the next phase of the company. Nothing new.

What would really be awesome is a multi storied, souls type adventure game made using Soul Calibur and its characters with a darker tone. Which character you choose, the other characters end up as being bosses of their area they come from. My soul still burns for something like that. But I would make the game based off of Soul Calibur 1.
