TL;DR
- There will be at least one more Samsung Unpacked in 2021.

- It is unclear what Samsung would launch at this event, but the Galaxy S21 FE is a possibility.
On October 20, there will be yet another Samsung Unpacked in 2021. The event will start at 10:00 AM ET that day with the usual worldwide livestream.

Unfortunately, it is unclear what Samsung could launch at this event. Usually, this would be the right time for the Samsung Galaxy S21 FE. However, rumors abound that Samsung has either delayed or totally canceled that phone. There also won’t be a Galaxy Note phone this year (or likely ever again), so this could be a launch with no phones involved.
What about tablets? We haven’t seen a Galaxy Tab S8 this year. However, the rumor mill suggests the tablet might not come until 2022, so we’re reluctant to think this Samsung Unpacked 2021 event would feature it.
Interestingly, the Samsung event invite says the event will include “opening up new experiences for self-expression through technology.” Your guess is as good as ours as to what that could mean.
We suppose we’ll just need to wait and see how this pans out. However, Samsung has the deck stacked against it that week with the hottest launch of the year happening: the Google Pixel 6 series. Let’s see if Samsung can steal some of Google’s Techtober thunder.
