Season 2 of Hulu’s The Great is almost here, with a snappy trailer giving us a glimpse into what lies ahead for Catherine the Great (Elle Fanning).
Now Empress of Russia after a successful coup against her husband Peter (Nicholas Hoult), Catherine must face the slew of challenges that comes with, you know, running an entire country. On top of all that, she has to deal with her pregnancy, her own mother (Gillian Anderson), and her fraught relationship with Peter. The trailer showcases Fanning and Hoult’s witty face-offs and promises even more debauchery in store. Huzzah!
