Save $40: The Ninja Specialty Coffee Maker (CM400) is on sale for just $99, down from $139, at Walmart as of Oct. 25. That’s a 28% discount.

You can tell a lot about a person from their coffee maker.

Actually, I’m not how sure how accurate that really is, but you can certainly tell a lot about a person’s coffee preferences from their brewer of choice. If you find that you’ve never quite fit neatly into a cold brew or Chemex-loving camp, instead opting to switch up your coffee with whatever the day’s vibes are, you’re probably the type to appreciate a maker with versatility.

One such maker — the Ninja Specialty Coffee Maker — is on sale for just $99 at Walmart as of Oct. 25. Whether you live alone or need to provide coffee for the masses (i.e. your family), prefer a huge iced coffee or love to sip on a smaller cup of hot joe, the Ninja CM400 has got you covered.

When it comes to serving sizes, you won’t just choose between a single or multi-serve brew. You actually have up to six choices, ranging from various single sizes to a half or full carafe (which serves up to 10 people). From buttons directly on the interface, you can decide to make a classic hot brew, a rich brew, or coffee that’s actually meant to go over ice (so you can avoid drinking homemade coffee-flavored water), and a 4-oz specialty concentrated brew that’s intended to function as an espresso.

If the word “espresso” perked up your latte-loving ears, you should know there’s no need to buy an extra milk frother with this coffee maker, since a frother folds out from the left side of the machine.

These levels of convenience and flexibility in a coffee maker may have you wondering — what’s the catch? Well, if you’re a coffee pod fan, there’s no K-cup slot in this machine, so you will need to use regular old grounds (though we understand that for many people, this is actually a plus). And for those who are deeply into coffee beyond its caffeine-boosting magic, we also can’t promise that this machine will deliver the most artisanal cups of coffee ever.

But if you’re looking for a machine that can do a lot without you having to pay a lot, this deal on the Ninja Specialty Coffee Maker could definitely be worth it.
