For as much as we rely on our computers these days (WFH, anybody?), we should all have a little extra security. This Toshiba Canvio Advance External Hard Drive is a nifty little compact that automatically backs up your data to make sure that you never lose your files to a laptop malfunction again.
The hard drive comes in five colors and three storage capacities: 1TB, 2TB, and 4TB. All are on sale at Amazon, but none more than the 2TB model. It’s designed for travel, weighing less than half a pound and coming with a password protection feature to secure your data.
Note that both password protection and auto backups are compatible with PCs only. While Mac devices can use the Canvio Advance as a simple hard drive, they cannot access those features.
