Kevin Hart’s next big thing for Netflix (after Fatherhood) is… quite a bit different!
In this trailer for the limited series True Story, Hart stars as a famous comedian of Eddie Murphy proportions who finds himself in trouble with the law and other, seemingly less savory gun-toting types after his brother, played by Wesley Snipes, shows up. There’s not a whole lot of specifics to take from this two-minute look, but just to be clear about the tone: This is no buddy comedy.
Dark happenings are afoot in True Story, which comes to Netflix from Narcos creator Eric Newman on Nov. 24.
