A new Morbius trailer has arrived

Morbius is finally coming out on January 28, 2022, after some long delays because of the COVID-19 pandemic. A new trailer arrived recently, giving a bit more insight into what the upcoming movie will be about.

The Sony Marvel movie will follow Dr. Michael Morbius, an award-winning doctor who has his own struggles with a disease that affects him and other people around the world. He wants to find a cure, and in doing so, becomes a vampire–because it’s a comic book movie, and this is how things work. However, his new “cure” leads him with a thirst for blood, and now he’s a wanted criminal–because he eats people.

The film stars Jared Leto in the titular role and features Adria Arjone (Good Omens), Tyrese Gibson (2 Fast 2 Furious), and Matt Smith (Doctor Who). Daniel Espinosa directs the film, who in 2017 helmed the alien horror film Life.

Taking a look at the latest Morbius trailer, there’s a few more things we can gleam from the story and surprises along the way. Additionally, we can take a look at the comics to figure a bit more out about the supporting characters. Here’s our breakdown of the Morbius trailer.
