Satisfy your need to knead: As of Nov. 2, the heavy-duty KitchenAid Pro 5 Plus stand mixer (5-quart) is on sale for $219.99 at Best Buy. That’s a 51% discount on the MSRP listed on KitchenAid’s website.

Big brands like KitchenAid are the backbone of Black Friday. But while prices of similar big-ticket items (say, from Samsung and Instant Pot) were dropping throughout October, KitchenAid wasn’t really delivering on the deals.

But we’re in Black Friday month now, baby. As of Nov. 2, the KitchenAid Pro 5 Plus stand mixer is over $200 off, bringing the heavy-duty five-quart gadget down to $219.99. All colors (silver, black, red, and blue) are on sale, and Best Buy guarantees that $219.99 is this model’s Black Friday price.

The original price is technically $429.99 on KitchenAid’s website (not Best Buy’s alleged $499.99). The savings is more like $210 than $280. Still over half off, still huge.

KitchenAid’s Professional Series mixers are equipped to mix dense batches like dough. The bowl-lift design, which sets it apart from the tilt-head design of the Artisan or Classic series, stays stationary while two sturdy arms raise and lower the bowl. This mechanism keeps things steady while the more powerful motor takes on stubborn mixtures.

This design also allows for large batches. The five-quart bowl can make around nine dozen cookies or seven pounds of mashed potatoes (always necessary) at once. Ingredients are taken on with 10 speed options and included dough hook, wire whip, or flat beater. Homemade pasta or peeled apples for your pie can be made with separate KitchenAid attachments.
