Jacob St-Amour from Link-Cable writes: “The early 90s brought many new types of adventures for fans to enjoy. From the new Zelda, Metroid and Mario games, fans were always given the opportunity to play through their mascots biggest entries time and time again. The early days of gaming also brought a new type of experience in the form of Mario Kart wish has since become a staple and a marquee franchise for Nintendo. The sheer amount of units sold and new installments just further prove that this fun kart-racing sim is one of the game company’s most profitable franchises and its success’ have almost to no equal in comparison to other Nintendo offerings. All of that said, there is a missed opportunity for Mario Kart to be even bigger than what it is now and all that they need to do to achieve it this is by including new racers in the form of Nintendo’s other properties.”
